WILLIAMS, Janet P

Janet P. WILLIAMS, 65, of Birmingham, died today, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McDowell Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. WILLIAMS was born June 14, 1943, in Fairfield, the daughter of Paul and Edith CALHOUN.

Mrs. WILLIAMS was employed at MetroMail in Mount Pleasant and Thermaco in Washington, Iowa.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, and she loved horses.

Survivors include two daughters, Jackie WILLIAMS and husband Jim and Mary HAYNES, all of Birmingham; four sisters, Luella HAGANS of Fairfield, Beverly BROBSTON of Fairfield, Donna SMART of Waycross, Ga., and Shirley LANGEL of Mount Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Donal and Ronald; one daughter, Edith; one great-granddaughter; two granddaughters; and one sister, Jacqueline.
