WELLS, Frances L. -- Frances L. WELLS, 89, of Packwood, died Sunday evening, Sept. 14, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital.
Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

WELLS, Frances Lee -- Frances Lee WELLS, 89, of Packwood, went to join the Lord on Sunday evening, September 14, 2008 at the Jefferson County Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Packwood Christian Church. The Rev. Frosty Van Voorst will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Raymond Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Packwood Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Frances' name to the Packwood Christian Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com.
Frances Lee WOOLUMS was born June 1, 1919 at Packwood. She was the daughter of Elijah and Mary KNIGHT WOOLUMS. She attended school in the Packwood area. On December 21, 1935 she married Charles Franklin WELLS in Lancaster, Missouri. Frances and Frank worked their entire life on the family farm. She was a member of the Packwood Christian Church, TTT, CWF, and the Kroney Crew Club.
She is survived by two sons, Fred (Carol) WELLS of Packwood, Robert WELLS of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Lori (Mark) ADAMSON, Kimberly (Steve) BRENIZER, Andrew (Gina) WELLS, Bradley (Aimee) WELLS and eleven great-grandchildren, Luke, Keaton and Jake BRENIZER, Morgan and Lauren WELLS, Cassandra, Ethan and Claudia ADAMSON and Drew, Carson and Sydney WELLS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on December 13, 1999; sisters, Wilda, Blanche, Maxine, Faye, Marie and two brothers, Vic and Fieldon.
