Larry STARK, 67, of Stockport, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant. Burial will be in Spenser Cemetery near Stockport.
No visitation is planned.
A memorial has been established to the Lewelling House in Salem.

Larry Michael STARK, 67, of Stockport, died Thursday, Sept 11, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service was held today at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with Lothar Lengtat officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.
A memorial has been established and may be directed to the family.

Mr. STARK was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Henry County, the son of Harley and Eileen NELSON STARK. He married Laura Karen GIBERSON Dec. 24, 1962, in Keosauqua. She survives.
Mr. STARK grew up in Round Prairie Township in Jefferson County. He graduated from Stockport High School. He farmed and worked as a maintenance supervisor at Vista Bakery in Burlington for 44 years.
Mr. STARK was a NASCAR fan. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, attending the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion and spending time with his family. He also collected old tractors and cars and was interested in antique engines.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael STARK and wife Kimberly of Mount Pleasant, Monty STARK and wife Tammy of Mount Pleasant and Nathan STARK and wife Janette of Hillsboro; three daughters, Sheila WILKERSON and husband Jeff of Salem, Rhonda STARK of Stockport and Tasha STARK of Lockridge; two brothers, Steven STARK of Harrisonville, Mo., and Richard TYNER of Salina, Kan.; three sisters, Cheryl GIBERSON of Mount Pleasant, Kandi STARK-REEDER of Lockridge and Kim GRIEP of Salina, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his biological father, Dalton TYNER; and one brother, Dennis STARK.
