OBITUARY.

Hamilton FISHER died at his home in Libertyville March 26th, 1904, aged seventy-one years, five months, twenty-six days. The funeral took place from the home Sunday, March 27th, Rev. Barber conducting the services. Mr. FISHER was born in Madison county, Ind., September 30th, 1832; he came to Iowa in 1839 and settled in Van Buren county, where he lived a short time, and then came to this county, where he lived on a farm until 1902. He came to Libertyville in 1902. He was married to Catharine PINEGAR May 31st, 1852; of this union five children were born, four of whom are living, and with his wife are left to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. He had been a member of the Baptist church since June 27, 1857.

DIED.

Hamilton FISHER died at his home in Libertyville, Iowa, March 26, 1904, aged 71 years, 5 months and 26 days. The funeral took place from his late home in Libertyville on Sunday, Mch. 27, Rev. Barber conducting the services.

Hamilton FISHER was born in Madison county, Indiana, September 30, 1832. He came to Iowa in 1839 and settled for a short time in Van Buren county, and then moved to Jefferson county, Iowa, where he lived on a farm until March 1st, 1903, when he went to Napa, California, where he remained until September 1st, of the same year, when he came back to Iowa and settled in Libertyville, where he died.

He was married to Catharine PINEGAR, May 31st, 1852. To this union five children were born, three sons and two daughters, one son, Joseph, G., died June 12, 1885.

He leaves to mourn for him a wife, two sons, and two daughters, and four grandchildren. He was a member of the Baptist church since 1857. In his residence of sixty-four years in one community he has seen this country develop into its present prosperous condition, the young men and women of today owe much to the generation to which he belonged and of whom there are few left.
