Donald L. BUFORD

Donald L. BUFORD, 77, of Fairfield, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at home.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Cremation has been accorded.

Memorials to Hospice of Central Iowa may be brought to the service or mailed to the family at 200 N. 28th St., No. 38, Fairfield 52556.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mr. BUFORD was born March 2, 1931, in Downing, Mo., the son of Russell and Margaret BLESSING BUFORD. He married M. Lucille PETERSON Oct. 19, 1962, in Memphis, Mo. She died July 9, 2004.

Mr. BUFORD worked as a maintenance supervisor at Louden Monorail in Fairfield and Metromail in Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include three sons, Michael BUFORD of Fairfield, Terry BUFORD and wife Marlene of Fairfield and Donald BUFORD II and wife Twyla of Columbia, Mo.; two daughters, Debbie L. DOUGLAS and M. Kathy BEACRAFT, both of Memphis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Danny and Charles BUFORD, both of Downing, Mo.; and two sisters, Roberta SMALL of Memphis, Mo., and Juanita COX of Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
