ROBINSON, Rollin D. -- Rollin D. ROBINSON, 96, formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday, June 19, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz.

Mr. ROBINSON was born Sept. 24, 1911, in Fairfield, the son of Charles and Clara ANDERSON ROBINSON.

Mr. ROBINSON graduated from Fairfield High School in 1930. From 1946 until his retirement in 1977, he owned and managed Robinson's Plumbing and Heating in Fairfield. He and his wife Ann moved to Colorado Springs and then to Mesa, Ariz., where they lived for many years traveling and enjoying family and friends.

Mr. ROBINSON was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Survivors include three children, Judy EATON and husband Al of Tucson, Ariz., Joan PETERSON and husband Ock of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary of Medical Lake, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

His wife preceded him in death.
