WEBB, Robert B. -- Robert B. WEBB, 38, of Bonaparte, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at home.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage, Ill.

A memorial has been established, and gifts may be mailed to Melissa WEBB, 109 S. Fayette St., Carthage, IL 62321.

Local arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mr. WEBB was born July 22, 1969, in Burlington.

Mr. WEBB attended school in Carthage, Ill.; Reed High School in Sparks, Nev.; Spoon River College in Canton, Ill.; and Carpenter Millwright Apprenticeship School in Pleasant, Calif.

Mr. WEBB had been a member of Union Local 102 in California since 1998.

He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, playing guitar and jamming with friends.

Survivors include his father, Gary G. WEBB of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Melissa M. WEBB of Cartage (sic - Carthage), Ill.; his grandfather, Lyle WEBB of Bushnell, Ill.; and his stepfather, Mike AKERS of Carthage.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen L. AKERS, and grandparents, Ivan and Harriett GREEN and Virginia WEBB.
