BROWN, Eileen -- Eileen BROWN, 87, of Fairfield, died Thursday morning, April 17, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Selby-Kirsch Funeral Chapel in Shenandoah. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at Imogene.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. BROWN was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Imogene, the daughter of John and Mary GARRETY REGAN. She married Doyle BROWN March 2, 1957, in Imogene.

Mrs. BROWN grew up around Imogene and attended school through the ninth grade. She worked at various places. She retired from Henry Fields after working in the offices for many years.

Mrs. BROWN was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shenandoah until she moved to Fairfield in 1999.

Survivors include one son, John BROWN of Fairfield; two grandchildren; and one sister, Genevieve DOYLE of Imogene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Loretta, Mary, Agnes and Monica; and two brothers, John and Frank.
