JOHNSON, Myron Everett -- Myron Everett JOHNSON, 89, of Packwood, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
No funeral is planned.
Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Following Mr. JOHNSON's wishes, his body will be cremated following visitation.

Mr. JOHNSON was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Monmouth, the son of Carl and Angeline DEMOSS JOHNSON. He married Mildred Mae EDWARDS Feb. 4, 1939, in Maquoketa.
Mr. JOHNSON was a United States Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines. He was employed by the Fairfield Community School District for 27 years as a bus mechanic.
Mr. JOHNSON enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, square dancing, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Carl JOHNSON and wife Rosemary of Ostelic, N.Y., Anna M. EDWARDS of Limesprings, Neda SWORDS and husband Frank of Valdosta, Ga., Larry JOHNSON and wife Marsha of Packwood and Karen LYONS and husband Mike of Fairfield; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Myron E. JOHNSON; two brothers, Carlyle JOHNSON and Norman JOHNSON; and two sisters, Dorothy RURSCH and Gladys GOODY.
