PARISH, Doris E. -- Doris E. PARISH, 95, of Keosauqua, died at 10:34 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

PARISH, Doris E. -- Doris E. PARISH, 95, of Keosauqua, died at 10:34 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Byron Wixom officiating. Cremation will follow, with family burial of cremains at a later date in Harness Cemetery in Mount Sterling.
Open visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Thursday and beginning at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 10-11 a.m. Friday.
Memorials to Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 301 Henry St., Keosauqua 52565.
Mrs. PARISH was born Aug. 14, 1912, in rural Clark County, Mo., the daughter of Charley and Inez BREWSTER KENNEDY. She married Charley PARISH Jan. 16, 1932, in Kahoka, Mo. He died March 20, 1984.
Mrs. PARISH and her husband farmed in Clark County. She moved to Keosauqua in 1990.
She had been associated with the former Asbury Community Church in Clark County and Mount Sterling United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy TWEEDY of Keosauqua; two sons, Don PARISH and wife Roberta of Colo and Danny PARISH of Arbela, Mo.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lou BROOMHALL of Kahoka, Mo.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Darrell PARISH; her parents; and two brothers, Howard and Glenn KENNEDY.
