MRS. DAVISON PASSES AWAY

Mrs. W. H. DAVISON, 66, resident of Fairfield, passed away this morning at 7:25 at her home, 604 North Main Street.

She had been ill for the past 14 years and became seriously ill the past month. She had been a resident of Fairfield for 22 years.

Funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home Thursday at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. S. P. Williamson will officiate. Interment at the Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. DAVISON was the daughter of the late Hiram and Lucinda STONE. She was born Feb. 3, 1877 (sic - 1879) in Wayland, Ia. She was united in marriage to William H. DAVISON on Feb. 10, 1903.

Surviving are her husband, and one daughter, Mrs. Vern S. NELSON of Fairfield and one son, Dale DAVISON of Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Enas CHRISTNER, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Lee DAVISON, Fairfield, Mrs. Lon HYDE, Brighton, and Elsie STONE, Wayland; and five brothers, Lester STONE, Keota, Frank STONE, Lockridge, Charles STONE, Coppock, Martin STONE Wayland, and Villard STONE, Coppock. Four grandchildren also survive.

Note: Buried in Lot Old.P.331. Husband William Harvey DAVISON died in 1952 and is buried with her. Her birth year is 1878 on her gravestone, however censuses indicate an 1879 birth; the 1900 census notes "Feb 1879" as her birth month and year.
