Joseph Franklin Ritz
Joseph Franklin Ritz, 60, of Ottumwa, died Thursday,' Dec. 7, 2006, at home.
A graves ide service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Leando Cemetery in :bouds, with the Rev. Len Garrison officiating. The body has been cremated.
Memorials to Douds Community Club may be brought to the service or mailed to the family at 1962 170th St., Fairfield 52556.
Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
Mr. Ritz was born March 27, 1946, near Douds, the son of Henry Lefever and Marjorie Snelling Ritz.
Mr. Ritz attended Douds and Van Buren Community schools. He' also attended service schools for Oliver and Allis-Chalmers tractors and farm implements. He had worked at American Chain and Cable Co. in Fairfield and was a semitrailer dri­ver; Most of hIS life was spent in the Douds and Ottumwa communi ties.
Survivors include four brothers, Jack Ritz of Fairfield, Denis Ritz of Douds, Robert Ritz of Ottumwa and Van Ritz of Albion, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
