SIMONS, Donna -- Donna SIMONS, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

No visitation is planned.

Mrs. SIMONS was born May 21, 1934, in Richland, the daughter of Luther and Marie McCONNELL REIGHARD. She married Kenneth James SIMONS April 9, 1951, in Fairfield.

Mrs. SIMONS lived most of her life in Jefferson County. She was a lifetime restaurant employee and owned the Family Cafe.

Survivors include her husband; two children, Kenneth R. SIMONS and wife Connie of Fairfield and Connie GRIFFIN and husband Bob of Fairfield; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald REIGHARD of Burlington; and one sister, Phyllis KLETT of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
