MARKER, David Wallace -- David Wallace MARKER, 66, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in Monrovia, Calif.

A memorial service was held Dec. 15 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monrovia, with the Rev. Jim Thompson officiating. The body has been cremated.

Douglas & Zook Mortuary in Monrovia was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. MARKER was born April 22, 1941, in Waterloo, the son of George and Verna MARKER.

Mr. MARKER graduated from West High School in Waterloo. He attended Parsons College in Fairfield. Mr. MARKER lived in Fairfield and worked at Dexter Company for 25 years. He moved to California in 1985 and worked at the University of California, Long Beach for 16 years as maintenance supervisor. He retired in 2004.

While living in Fairfield, Mr. MARKER was involved in golf, theater and announcing sports. He was a life-long member of Exchange Club of Long Beach. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; one daughter, Kimberly MARKER of New York; one son, Jason MARKER of Colorado; and one sister, Kay COPPOLA of California.
