CRAIG, Lawrence Gordon -- Lawrence Gordon CRAIG, 74, of Burlington, died at 9:17 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.

No formal service will take place. The body has been cremated.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date in Mount Pleasant.

Mr. CRAIG was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Gordon D. and Marie D. WOLF CRAIG.

Mr. CRAIG was a self-employed painter.

He was Catholic.

Survivors include six brothers, Damien CRAIG of Fairfield, Lawrence CRAIG of Burlington, Mark CRAIG of Kenosha, Wis., Stuart CRAIG of Chicago, Ill., Peter CRAIG of Mount Pleasant and James Paul CRAIG of Rome, Iowa; and one sister, Rosale FULLER of Mount Pleasant.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David CRAIG; and three sisters, Karen COTTER, Roseanne CRAIG and Pauline GROSS.
