WOLFE, Lucile R. -- Lucile R. WOLFE, 85, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Germanville, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Plesant, where the family will be present from 6:30-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.

Mrs. WOLFE was born Feb. 27, 1922, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Irven and Ethel MESSENGER STORTZ. She married John H. WOLFE June 24, 1945, at the Stortz home in rural Germanville. He died in 2004.
Mrs. WOLFE had taught in country schools and helped her husband on the family farm until their retirement in 1999. After retiring, they moved to Mount Pleasant.
Mrs. WOLFE enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with family.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie KAUFMAN and husband Terry of Fairfield and Joan and Nancy WOLFE, both of Mount Pleasant, and two grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
