GREIMAN, Dona Loucille -- Dona Loucille GREIMAN, 78, of Garner, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at Concord Care Center in Garner.

A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Peace Reformed Church south of Garner, with the Rev. Harvey Opp officiating. Burial will be in Peace Reformed Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner and from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be given to the Dona GREIMAN Memorial Fund.

Mrs. GREIMAN was born Sept. 30, 1929, in Garner, the daughter of Charles H. and Dorothy WHITNEY BETHKE. She married Clifford GREIMAN Jan. 19, 1947, in Algona. He died Dec. 16, 1996.

Mrs. GREIMAN graduated from Garner High School. She and her husband farmed south of Garner and raised and showed purebred Angus cattle. She co-owned and operated Fashion Alley boutique in downtown Garner. She managed Prairie View Apartments from 1977-1981 and 1986-1992. She also was a resident of Prairie View from 2000-2002. She resided at Concord Care Center for the past six years.

She enjoyed family, friends, travels to Sanibel Island, Fla., spending time with her husband vending ice cream at the Iowa State Fair and doing presentations on her vintage clothing collection.

Mrs. GREIMAN was a member of Peace Reformed Church where she served on the Women's Missionary Society and taught Sunday school. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and served on post-prom parties for many years. She was a member of Iowa Tau Master Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and served as a Hancock County delegate to the Iowa Republican state convention.

Mrs. GREIMAN wrote and directed the pageant for Garner's centennial celebration in June of 1970. She was the chairperson, along with writing and directing the theater production of "Our Town," for Hancock County's bicentennial celebration in June of 1976.

Survivors include five children, Cherry BROUWER and husband James of Bemidji, Minn., formerly of Fairfield, Chris GREIMAN of Waterloo, Gay PROHASKA and husband Mike of Huxley, Cory GREIMAN and wife Florence "Sis" of Garner and Kurt GREIMAN and wife Tina of Perry; one sister, Patricia STALLINGS of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
