Mrs. H. D. DAVIS Died Thursday In Marshalltown

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. H. D. DAVIS, who passed away at 1:35 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the St. Thomas Mercy Hospital in Marshalltown (note: in Marshall Co., IA). She had been a patient there for the past three months.

Funera (sic) services will be held at the Estel Funeral Home in Marshalltown at 10 o;clock Sunday morning, July 13. Short services will be held at the grave in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. DAVIS was a former resident of this city, until 16 years ago when she went to Marshalltown to make her home.

... Mrs. Nell Peebler and Mrs. J. O. Boyd attended the funeral of Mrs. H. D. DAVIS of Marshalltown in Fairfield Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Boyd was a supper guest of Rev. and Mrs. W. B. Ireland that evening.
