Marjorie Luella Brereton Raymond, 83, of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Cheyenne, Wyo.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the Jefferson County 4-H Foundation.

Mrs. Raymond was born April 26, 1922, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Samuel Roscoe and Lula Mae Blakely Brereton. She married Cyril Rogers Raymond Nov. 6, 1946, at First Christian Church in Fairfield.

Mrs. Raymond was a lifelong resident of the Fairfield area and attended schools in Van Buren and Jefferson counties. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Raymond was a member of Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Alice Wickham and husband Orris of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Nancy Curd and husband Dick of Gandberry, Texas; one son, Donald Cyril Raymond and wife Mary of Branson, Mo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Brereton of Libertyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Paul, Clyde, Lester and Lloyd Brereton.
