Lelia R. RANARD

Lelia R. RANARD, 80, of Fairfield, passed away February 15, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be held 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 17, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home.

A service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the funeral home. Rev. Dave Peterson will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Online condolences may be sent via: www.behnerfh.com .

Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Hospital.

Lelia R. RANARD was born August 3, 1925 in Rome, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Leona Mae (SCARFF) ENSMINGER. She married Gayle Richard RANARD in Kahoka, MO on June 27, 1942. Mr. RANARD passed away September 26, 1993.

Lelia was employed as a saleslady with Martha Brown, Ltd. in the jewelry dept. and was an Avon representative for over 20 years. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader and a member of the Rome Baptist Church. Lelia enjoyed her family immensely and was a wonderfully positive person with a great sense of humor.

Lelia is survived by her mother, Leona Mae ENSMINGER of Fairfield, and her children and their families: son Robert RANARD and wife Gwee-Sook Kim of Princeton, NJ, and two daughters: Sister Linda Anne RANARD of Redbud, IL and Debbie BROBSTON of Stafford, VA. Lelia was grandmother to Heather & Chris AVERSA and Michael & Nancy BROBSTON. She had 3 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Hunter and Makayla, with another great-grandson due in June.

Her father, husband and one brother Kenneth ENSMINGER preceded Lelia in death.
