COOK, Howard -- Howard COOK, 64, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Richard White officiating.
Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

COOK, Howard LeRoy -- Howard LeRoy COOK, 64, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A funeral was held today at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Richard White officiating. Interment was in McDowell Cemetery, near Pleasant Plain.

Mr. COOK was born Feb. 19, 1943, the son of Jasper and Annabell HAGANS COOK.
Mr. COOK retired from Adrian Trucking in 2000 due to health reasons. He lived most of his life in Fairfield.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Dimmitt-Vorhies Post No. 2271. Mr. COOK was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.
He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his dog.
Survivors include three sisters, Nancy BILLINGSLEY of Fairfield, Linda GRIDLEY of Fairfield and Joyce MORKIN of Palmyra, Mo.; three brothers, Larry COOK of New London, John COOK of Laytonsville, Md., and Delbert HOUSTON of Fairfield; four sons, Howard LeRoy Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Jeffrey of Kansas City, Mo., Jasper LeRoy of Luxenberg, Germany, and Theopile COOK of Luxenburg, Germany; one stepson, Michael HOWARD; one daughter, Jennifer HOWARD of Fairfield; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tory COOK; and one stepson, Kelly HOWARD.
