BESWICK, Gerald A. -- Gerald A. BESWICK, 90, died today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Nelson Nursing Home.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory.

BESWICK, A. Gerald -- A. Gerald BESWICK, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Interment will follow in Winchester Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Stockport Senior Citizens Center/Congregate Meals. Cards and memorials may be sent to 218 Fifth St. N.W., Mount Vernon 52314. Online condolences may be sent via www.behnerfh.com .

Mr. BESWICK was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Stockport, the son of Worthy Dwight and Bessie Maud KISLING BESWICK. He married Esther Eileen CANADAY April 27, 1946, in Fairfield. She died July 25, 2005.

Mr. BESWICK graduated from Stockport High School. He was a farmer in the Stockport community.

He was a member of Stockport Lions Club.

Survivors include two children, Joyce ACKERMAN and husband George of Mount Vernon and Jerry BESWICK of Stockport and two grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gene and Harold.
