Claudette Norris, 66, of Eldon, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Mrs. Norris was born in Centerville, the daughter of Donna VanBlairicome and Kenneth Tharp. She married Eddie “Joe” Norris.

She lived in Eldon most of her life . She was active with the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub Scout Leader and on the Advisory Counsel.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Marty Norris and wife Jennifer of Des Moines; two daughters, Brandie Liles and husband Nick of Bloomfield and Wendy Stivers and Husband Jim of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, John VanBlaricome of Fairfield and Stanly VanBlaricome of Lockridge; a sister, Phyllis Dozier of Mesa, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Lundquist and a daughter, Donna Christine.
