Glenn Keith Manning (Jay) of Wichita Kansas, formerly of Batavia, passed away Feb. 5th 2006 in a drowning accident while vacationing with his wife Vicky on the island of Kauai.

Born Nov. 9th 1949, he was a supervisor at Wescon Products in Wichita. He graduated from Parsons College in 1970.

Survived by his wife, Vicky Whipple Manning; two sons, Glenn Jason of Fayetteville, AR, Eric of Iowa City; his mother Marjory Manning; 2 sisters and brother-in-laws, Marilee (Dee) Emmert and Bob, Kathy Steele and Paul; 2 brothers and sister-in-laws, Charles (Bucky) and Cheryl, Lonnie and Julie; 2 brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Steve and Rita Whipple, Butch and Carla Bloomquest, brother-in-law Greg Whipple; father and mother-in-law Richard and Maxine Whipple.

He was preceded in death by his father Glenn.

Services will be held Saturday Feb. 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the Libertyville United Methodist Church. Internment will be at the Brethren Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Kauai Hospice, Jefferson Co. Park, or the NRA.

A memorial service, in Wichita, will be held at a later date.

Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted family with arrangements.
