KINCAID, Mabel -- Mabel KINCAID, 94, of Mount Pleasant, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Henry County Health Center.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

Open visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.

KINCAID, Mabel Irene -- Mabel Irene KINCAID, 94, of Mount Pleasant, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Henry County Health Center.

Mrs. KINCAID was born Nov. 5, 1912, in Louisa County, the daughter of James Alfred and Nannie Francis MARTIN McTEE. She married Levi Wesley KINCAID May 27, 1934, in Bucklin, Mo. He died Feb. 11, 1973.

Mrs. KINCAID spent her formative years in Crawfordsville and later moved to Morning Sun. She graduated from Olds High School in 1930. She then enrolled in business college in Chillicothe, Mo. Following her graduation, she worked for Woods and Sons in Chillicothe. In 1937, she and her husband moved to Mount Pleasant. She was the bookkeeper for the family's well drilling business and KINCAID Trailer Courts.

Mrs. KINCAID attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant and was active in the women's bible study at the church.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with family.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Ann HAMMAN of Mount Pleasant; one grandson; one brother, Robert McTEE of Fairfield; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William McTEE, Charles McTEE and James Lawrence McTEE.
