CRANDALL, Edith A. -- Edith A. CRANDALL, 90, of Fairfield, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Southeast Iowa Skeet Club, formerly Izaak Walton League. Cards and memorials may be sent to 112 11th Ave., East Oskaloosa, 52577.

Mrs. CRANDALL was born July 22, 1917, in Moulton, the daughter of Charles Cledith and Virginia Yates SEATON. She married Donald Orman CRANDALL in 1944 in Capser, Wyo. He died Oct. 17, 1979.

Mrs. CRANDALL had lived in Fairfield since 1961. She was employed as a shipping clerk at Fairfield Glove and Mitten Company.

Mrs. CRANDALL attended First United Methodist Church.

Her interests include knitting, sports, Chicago Cubs and the Bulls. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Don CRANDALL and wife Kathrine of Oskaloosa and Jerry CRANDALL and wife Helen of Coin; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Russell SEATON; and one sister, Edna HANSEN.
