MOORE, Helen Jane -- Helen Jane MOORE, 89, of rural Bonaparte, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at home.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

MOORE, Helen Louise 'Jane' -- Helen Louise "Jane" MOORE, 89, of rural Bonaparte, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at home.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bonaparte United Church, with the Revs. Paul Rekward and Richard Eis officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.
Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where a PEO service will be at 7 p.m., followed by family visitation until 8:30 p.m.
Memorials to Bonaparte United Church or Bonaparte Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 806 Elm St., Oakes, ND 58474.
Mrs. MOORE was born Jan. 28, 1918, near Bonaparte, the daughter of Frank and Mary THOMPSON WARNER. She married James Brown MOORE Jr. Nov. 28, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Aug. 15, 1988.
Mrs. MOORE was a farm homemaker. She also had worked at the Bonaparte glove factory. She graduated from Bonaparte High School in 1934.
Mrs. MOORE was a member of Bonaparte United Church and had served in numerous church offices, including that of treasurer. She was a member of United Methodist Women, a 50-year member and past president of Chapter AB PEO in Bonaparte and a 70-year member of Order of Eastern Star, in which she had served as Worthy Matron of the former Magnolia Chapter in Bonaparte and belonged to the Stockport chapter. She also was a member of Bonaparte Historical Society and American Legion Auxiliary Beer-Barker Unit in Keosauqua. She was a founding member of Township Stores in Bonaparte.
Survivors include two sons, John MOORE and wife Patty of Brookings, S.D., and Dick MOORE and wife Bernadine of Oakes, N.D.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Ira and Earle WARNER; and two sisters, Dorothy SIMMONS and Margaret WARD.
