PHILIP ZIEGLER RITES THURSDAY.
Philip G. Ziegler, 58, Glasgow farmer, died at 4:45 a.m. today at the Jefferson County hospital where he had been a patient for eight weeks. Ziegler, who lived three miles southwest of Glasgow, had been in failing health for four years. He spent his entire life on the same farm. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Hoyt L. Whitebread. Burial will be in Glasgow cemetery. Ziegler was born Oct. 16, 1904 near Glasgow, the son of Herman and Suzanna Fuhr Ziegler. He never married. Surviving are one brother, John Ziegler, Stockport; and two sisters, Barbara Ziegler, Stockport, and Mrs. Lydia Steele, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.
