DEATH TAKES WILLIAM M. WRIGHT, a lifetime resident of Jefferson County; 72 years old at time of death. Burial will be in Glasgow cemetery.
Born Mar. 26, 1874 at Glasgow, where he spent the early part of his life. Son of the late J. L. and Susan Loving Wright. Married, Mar. 31, 1895, Gittie M. Wyckoff at Burlington. The couple moved to the Batavia community 25 years ago. His wife preceded him in death Apr. 10, 1931. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Bradshaw, Batavia; Mrs. C. H. Kight, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Otto Day, Arbela, Mo.; four sons, Paul, Batavia; Ray, Selma, Iowa; George, Hedrick; and Wayne, Ottumwa.
Three sisters and one brother also survive; Mrs. Margaret Thomas, Centerville; Mrs. Elsie Creek, Memphis, Mo.; and Mrs. Lavina Baker, Mills, Wyo.; and C. R. Wright, Memphis, Mo. Also 14 grandchildren.
