ISAAC ARCHIBALD DIED AT GLASGOW.
Isaac Archibald, a well known resident of Jefferson County, passed away this morning at seven o'clock at his home in Glasgow after a several months' illness. Mr. Archibald, who was the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Archibald, was born in Ohio, Oct. 24, 1836, being at the time of his death 79 years, one month and twenty days old. When a small child, his parents moved to Iowa and for a number of years he has made Glasgow his home. On January 1st, 1863, he was united in marriage at Mt. Pleasant to Miss Elizabeth Paxson of that city, who survives him. To this union were born the following children: Mrs. Cora B. Anderson of Fairfield, Rose Archibald of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Minnie Barton of Hillsboro, and Jesse M. Archibald whose whereabouts is unknown. He also leaves to mourn his loss the following brothers and sisters: Robert Archibald, Benjamin Archibald, Mrs. Mary McCurd and Nan Clinkenbeard all of Moulton and Mrs. Sarah June of Colorado.
