A. W. HISEL, 90, Taken In Death

Arthur W. "Deed" Hisel, 90, lifetime resident of Jefferson county, died at 5:45 a.m. today at his farm home southeast of Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist church in charge of the Rev. J. Roland Crandall. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

HISEL was born southeast of Fairfield Sept. 21, 1873, the son of Joseph and Martha HOWARD HISEL. He moved to his present farm when less than one year old and spent the remainder of his life there. He was married to Della VAUGHT May 14, 1902. She died Dec. 8, 1919. On Oct. 26, 1948, he was married to Victorine DOAN, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Glen HISEL, Fairfield Route 3; and one daughter, Mrs. Velma SCHEE, Mt. Pleasant Route 4. Other survivors are four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. L. W. SINN, Denver, Colo. One son and one brother preceded him in death.

HISEL was a member of the First Methodist Church.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Arthur W. HISEL, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Above Entitled Estate:

You are hereby notified that on the 25th day of March, 1964, the last will and testament of the above named decedent, bearing date the 8th day of January, 1957, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that the undersigned was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
