Dale Kuzmicki, 67, of Fairfield died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Steve Higdon officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial has been established. Online condolences may be left at www.behnerfh.com.

Mr. Kuzmicki was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Iowa City, the son of Frank A. and Verda M. Kuzmicki. He married Eva Constance Ann Kodithuwakku Oct. 20, 2003, in Eldon.

Mr. Kuzmicki grew up in Fairfield and later moved to Indiana. He then moved to Fort Dodge and later Eldon where he met his wife. He held various positions in the workforce.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dale Kuzmicki and Mark Kuzmicki and wife Leeann, both of Pocahontas; one daughter, Emily Johannes and husband Bruce of Pocahontas; two stepchildren, Manorie Kodithuwakku and Manoj Kodithuwakku of Sri Lanka; six grandchildren; and one brother, Marvin Kuzmicki of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and one sister, Marjorie Lewis.
