GLASGOW - Catherine MESSNER was born in Cumberland County, Penn., in 1818 and died near Glasgow Mar. 28, 1890. When quite young, she came to Iowa. United Brethern Church. In 1843 she married Alexander DUNLAVY in Glasgow and their wedded life of 47 years has been spent within a mile of the same place. Six children all of whom survive her. Remains interred in Glasgow cemetery.
