CARTER, Harold O. and Elizabeth T. -- A graveside service for Harold O. and Elizabeth T. GIBERSON CARTER will be Monday at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, with the Rev. Gene Turner officiating.

Harold O. CARTER, of Eureka Springs, Ark., died May 18, 1999, at home. Elizabeth T. GIBERSON CARTER, of Eureka Springs, Ark., died Sept. 1, 2005, at home.

Mr. CARTER was born Nov. 28, 1916, in rural Fairfield, the son of Harry and Mary HESTON CARTER. Mrs. CARTER was born Aug. 26, 1920, in rural Stockport, the daughter of Jessie Thomas and Issie PECK GIBERSON. They married April 30, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.

Survivors include four daughters, Tonya MORRISON of rural Carman, Ill., Brenda LIPSON of Santa Monica, Calif., Cindy GREEN of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Sherry JOSEPH of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. CARTER was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Mrs. CARTER was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
