Jerry Eugene GOODE, 61, of Libertyville, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at his home.

A Celebration of the Lives of Mr. GOODE and his mother will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Hartford. The body has been cremated.

Mr. GOODE was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Knoxville, the son of Fred and Edna Ellen Robinson GOODE. He married Barbara Ann MOOK Feb. 13, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Mr. GOODE was employed at Winger Mechanical as a plumber and steam fitter for 30 years.

Mr. GOODE was a member of BPOE 1192 in Fairfield, the Walton Club and the Steam Fitter’s Union Local 33.

Survivors include his wife; six children, Lonnie GOODE and wife Michelle of Pleasantville, Jon Eugene GOODE and wife Heather of Runnells, Trena MCCRAINE and husband Danny of Des Moines, Rick GOODE and wife Amber of Superior Township, Mich., Michelle MOOK and husband Brett of Batavia and Krista WHITHAM and husband Andy of Walford; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Judy HUTCHINSON of Hartford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
