TAEGER, Cleo -- Cleo TAEGER, 90, formerly of Stockport, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

TAEGER, Cleo G. -- Cleo G. TAEGER, 90, formerly of Stockport, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present from 7-8 p.m.

Memorials to Spencer Cemetery or Stockport First Responders may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 29606 130th St., Stockport 52651.

Mr. TAEGER was born March 14, 1916, near Burlington, the son of George and Lillian LONG TAEGER. He married Eileen LUTH Feb. 4, 1942, in Houghton.

Mr. TAEGER and his wife farmed near Hillsboro and retired to Stockport in 1994. He had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center since April 11.

Mr. TAEGER had served on Farmers Mutual Insurance Association board and had been a member of Van Buren County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ervin TAEGER of Stockport and Eldon TAEGER of Hillsboro; one grandson; seven stepgrandchildren; and sevel stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Glen TAEGER; one sister, Marion FRITZ; and one daughter-in-law.
