NORTHRIDGE, Maude Jean -- Maude Jean NORTHRIDGE, 77, of Aiken, S.C., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A memorial service will be at a later time.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. NORTHRIDGE was born March 11, 1929, in Ridgewood, N.J., the daughter of Harold Mortimer and Helen DeBAUN DAVISON. She married Roy Donald NORTHRIDGE in 1957. He died in 1961.

Mrs. NORTHRIDGE graduated from Ridgewood High School and from Skidmore College in Saratoga, N.Y. She was a resident of Aiken for the past 33 years. She spent her summers, since 1936, on Lake George in Glenburnie, N.Y.

She was the coordinator for the Aiken County Council on Aging.

Survivors include one son, Geof NORTHRIDGE and wife Jenny of Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Quentin DAVISON; and four sisters, including Harriett VOUGHT and Edwina GILL.
