LUDWIG, Nancy Zoe -- Nancy Zoe LUDWIG, 70, of Selma, died at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery in Selma.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 6-7:30 p.m.

Memorials to Hospice of Wapello and Davis counties or to a charity of the donor's choice may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 81, Thornburg 50255.

Mrs. LUDWIG was born Jan. 26, 1937, in Newton, the daughter of James W. and Vera GARDNER GOLDEN. She married Richard J. "Rick" LUDWIG Dec. 23, 1955, in Fairfield. He died June 19, 1995.

Mrs. LUDWIG graduated from Selma High School. She worked at Sheaffer Pen Company in Fort Madison and Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua. She also sold Avon products and owned and operated the second-hand shop Little Bit of Everything in Ottumwa until recently.

Mrs. LUDWIG belonged to a motorcycle club and enjoyed riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed meeting new people.

Survivors include one son, David LUDWIG and wife Julie of Farmington; three daughters, Cathy SANDY and husband Brad of Indianola, Sherry VOGEL and husband Terry of Thornburg and Dawn EHRMAN and husband Tim of Keswick; 11 grandchildren; and one brother, James GOLDEN of Douds.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth GOLDEN.
