Enid Arlene BROWN -- Enid Arlene BROWN, 87, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Halcyon House in Washington, Iowa.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. The body will be cremated.

Family visitation will be 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Halcyon House - Good Samaritan Fund. Cards and memorials may be sent to 520 W. Tyler St., Washington 52353.

Mrs. BROWN was born July 22, 1919, in Afton, the daughter of Edwin and Tabitha JUSTICE AMES. She married Earl W. BROWN Nov. 18, 1945, in Afton. He died in January 2005.

Mrs. BROWN graduated from Afton High School. She and her husband lived in Winterset then moved to Fairfield in 1968. She was a homemaker. They moved to Washington in 2002.

Mrs. BROWN was a member of PEO and TTT.

Survivors include two children, Martin BROWN of New York and Linda BROWN of Washington, Iowa, and one sister, Bernita SIDDENS of Afton.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
