Patricia “Eileen” THOMAS, age 47 of Fairfield, IA, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006.

Memorial services will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Interment will be in Elgin Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa at a later date.

The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers to be made to the Fairfield USBC (Bowling) Association (Women’s Activities) or the Community Child Care Center.

Patricia “Eileen” THOMAS was born April 10, 1959 in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Jim and Carol (BARBAGLIA) MCGRANN. Eileen grew up in the Centerville area, graduating from Centerville High School with the Class of 1979. She was joined in marriage to Larry Dean THOMAS on June 10, 1983. They are the parents of two children: Daniel and Mandi.

Eileen was a cosmetologist, then provided home child care here in Fairfield for the past 22 years. She was vice president of the Fairfield Bowling Association and an avid bowler in the Chief League of Fairfield. Eileen enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed children. Her many interests included traveling, collecting angels, and she loved to shop!

Eileen is survived by her husband, Larry of 23 years, and their children and families: Daniel and Elizabeth THOMAS of Havelock, NC and Mandi THOMAS of North Liberty, IA. Eileen was grandmother to Dylan THOMAS, Olivia DYSON, Jessica THOMAS and Madison THOMAS. Survivors include her mother, Carol O’HAIR and step-father Jack of Centerville, one brother and two sisters: Mark MCGRANN of Mystic, IA, Diane DALPONTE of Exline, IA and Julie MCGRANN of Centerville, IA.

Eileen was preceded in death by her father, Jim MCGRANN.
