Shirley Gohn MCNEELEY, 88, of Dunnellon, Fla., died after a lengthy illness Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at her daughter’s home in Valders, Wis.

A service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Sweden United Methodist Church in Lockridge.

Mrs. MCNEELEY was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Henry County, the daughter of Fred and Nettie Wilson GOHN. She married Howard MCNEELEY Feb. 4, 1939, in Fairfield.

Mrs. MCNEELEY attended school in Jefferson County.

Survivors include her husband; five children, Karen BOHENSTENGEL and husband Ron of Valders, Wis., Charles MCNEELEY and wife Rae of Lockridge, Sunny MYSLIWIEC and husband Ken of Burbank, Ill., Kenneth MCNEELEY and wife Arlene of Momence, Ill., and Everett MCNEELEY of Gainsville, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Warren GOHN of Fairfield.
