Marjorie Munson LINN, 91, a former area resident died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in Huntsville, Ala.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dan Munson officiating.

Family visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials to Trinity Methodist Church, the DAR School in Grant, Ala., or to a charity of choice may be sent to Behner Funeral Home, 203 S. Main St., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. LINN was born July 17, 1914, in Stockport, the daughter of Marion and Hattie MUNSON. She married Charles C. LINN Feb. 15, 1942. He died Sept. 9, 1994.

Mrs. LINN graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1932. She graduated from Parsons College, University of Iowa and University of Alabama in Huntsville. She taught school in Iowa, Illinois and Huntsville. Her family moved near the Iowa Ordinance Plant in 1943. In 1955, they moved to Rock Island, Ill., and in 1962, to Huntsville, where her husband was employed at NASA.

Mrs. LINN was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She also was a member of Wesleyan Guild, XYZ, United Methodist Women, Huntsville Chapter of the DAR, DAC, Colonial Dames, Friendship Club, the Munson Foundation and Senior Friends of Crestwood. She was a former Red Cross volunteer.

Survivors include two sons, Charles M. LINN of Rochester, Mich., and Robert A. LINN of Huntsville, Ala.; three grandchildren; one sister, Eva WOLFE of Mount Pleasant; and one brother, Harold MUNSON of Lockridge.
