Robert W. JACK, 81, of Keosauqua, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A memorial service will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bryon Wixom officiating. Burial will be in Harness Cemetery in Mount Sterling with military rites by American Legion Beer-Barker Post. The body has been cremated.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with a Masonic service at 5 p.m., followed by family visitation until 6 p.m.

Memorials to Ottumwa Home Finding Association or Keosauqua United Methodist Church may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 846 Country Lane Road, Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. JACK was born June 15, 1925, in Mount Sterling, the son of Ren and Wynona Davis JACK. He married Frances WALLACE July 15, 1945, in Klamath Falls, Ore.

Mr. JACK graduated from Keosauqua High School. He served in the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II and was an Iowa conservation officer, retiring in 1982. He lived in DeWitt for 35 years and moved to Keosauqua in July of 2000.

Mr. JACK was a member of Keosauqua united Methodist Church. He was a member of Bellvue Masonic Lodge, Davenport Consistory, Kaaba Shrine of Davenport and American Legion Beer-Barker Post No. 113 in Keosauqua.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Jeffrey JACK of Keosauqua; two sisters, Shirley DEHART and Barbara HAMBERG of Keosauqua; and one brother, David JACK of Yale.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Roberta Jeanne JACK.
