Raymond Lee HILLER St., 76, of Richland, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Halcyon House in Washington following a lengthy illness.

A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

No visitation is scheduled.

Memorials may be made to Halcyon House or Hospice of Washington County.

Arrangements are in the care of Jones-Eden Funeral Home of Washington. Online condolences may be sent via www.jonesfh.com.

Mr. HILLER was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Washington, the son of John and Mary Sage HILLER. He married Eva CRAWFORD in 1952. He later married Sue GILTNER and later Dorothy Miller MARTIN.

Mr. HILLER attended school in Washington prior to joining the U.S. Army and serving during the Korean conflict. He lived most of his life in the Washington area. He was a truck driver all his life, working in the feed business. He was employed by Tindal Feed and Freshwaters Feed and Grain until retiring in 1992.

He enjoyed driving his pickup, dirt car racing and auctions and sales.

Survivors include his wife; six children, Floyd Eugene HILLER of Kalona, Robert Raymond HILLER and wife Maybele of Sedalia, Mo., Debra Sue RAMSEY of Washington, Raymond Lee HILLER Jr. and wife Debra of Washington, Robin Renee SINES and husband Thomas of Ainsworth and William Joseph HILLER and wife Jay Dee Murrison of Richland; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
