Telma Nixon EDWARDS, 90, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. May 26 at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Sanford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.

Mrs. EDWARDS was born Sept. 14, 1915.

Mrs. EDWARDS was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended the Four Square Bible Class. She belonged to Daughters of the Nile, Khafra Temple No. 121 in Shreveport and the American Legion Auxiliary in Des Moines.

Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor IRVIN and husband Dick; one son, William EDWARDS and wife Maxine; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Emma Jane BRADFIELD of Stockport and Beth HUDSON of Rock Island, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Elmer E. “Red” EDWARDS.
