Paul Revere BARNETT…beloved Husband of Mary for 62 years…honored Father to Linda THALE and Paula BARNETT…cherished Grandfather to Tammy THALE and Michael CVETETIC…adored Great-Grandfather to Amanda and Kaitlyn LANKFORD and to “the little guy”, Bo HARPER…best “Brother” to Mildred and Cecil…favorite Uncle to his nieces and nephews…long and faithful friend to fellow 34th Infantry “Red Bull” Comrades…good neighbor to those on Birchwood Trail…generous friend to all he met…public servant to every community he lived; began his “celebration in the sky” on Sunday, October the Fifteenth. Paul died as he lived; surrounded by the love of his family and the loving thoughts of his friends, in this Ormond Beach home at the age of 85. He was the tenth child of Oscar and Bertha BARNETT; the last of their thirteen children to meet them in heaven.

On Thursday, October the Nineteenth, at Volusia Memorial on Nova Road in Ormond Beach, there will be visitation from noon until one followed by a memorial service. His family invites you to join them as they celebrate the life of a man who exemplified great strength…faith…courage…wit…and wisdom. A man who taught by his example…a man who will be sorely missed but will live on in our hearts forever.
