Illness Fatal To Mrs. MONSON, 84

Mrs. Hilda MONSON, 84, died Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Crawford Nursing home. She had been in failing health for nine years, but her death was sudden.

Mrs. MONSON formerly lived at Salina. She had been a resident of Jefferson county for 40 years.

Last rites will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Donald A. Eagle. Burial will be in Salina cemetery.

Mrs. MONSON was born April 4, 1873 at Marine Mills, Minn., the daughter of Andrew and Johanna LARSON HAGBERG. She was married to Henry MONSON June 7, 1921. He preceded her in death June 18, 1948.

Mrs. MONSON was a member of the New Sweden Lutheran church and the Clara Lutheran Ladies Aid society.

She is survived by four brothers, Clarence HAGBERG, Superior, Wis.; Elmer HAGBERG, Duluth, Minn.; Clint HAGBERG, Greenville; J. O. HAGBERG, Ottumwa; and one sister, Mrs. May BRUNER, Barnum, Minn.
