Mrs. Nellie LAURENCE, 79, former resident of Jefferson County, died Thurs. at Bethesda Lutheran Hospital in St. Paul, Minn..

Born June 6, 1886, at Salina, daughter of Gust and Mathilda SWANSON HOLLANDER; married Rev. David J. LAURENCE Sept. 24, 1904. Following Rev. LAURENCE's retirement from the ministry, they made their home in St. Paul. Husband died Jan. 24, 1945. One daughter is also deceased.

Surviving are one son, Harold LAURENCE, Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren; one brother, Paul HOLLANDER, and one sister, Mrs. Charles LESHER, both of Fairfield. Services will be held Sat. at the Bethesda Lutheran Church where Rev. LAURENCE served as pastor.
