LOCKRIDGE--The largest funeral in the history of Lockridge was held today as a last honor to John Stevenson..... a farmer who had resided in this vicinity for 60 years and numbered his friends by the hundreds. A great crowd turned out to attend the services. The cortege was led by the hearse drawn by four horses and followed by the carriages of the mourners. The procession was very imposing.
