JOHN SANDBLOM DIED ON MONDAY NEAR NEW SWEDEN. Born in Sweden Nov. 4 1834 .....

John SANDBLOM, a native of Sweden, passed away at this home near New Sweden Monday afternoon.....born Nov. 4, 1834, and in 1855 came to this county. Married Miss Johanna SWANSON, who preceded him in death. He was again married in 1904 to Miss Hannah BARK at Evanston, Ill. He was a Civil war veteran, having served in Co. M, 4th Iowa cavalry. He was for many years a faithful member of the Swedish Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist Church at New Sweden --- interment in a nearby cemetery.
